Stefan Davis
There are leaders and there are followers.  And Stefan Davis gives the leader piggy back rides.  Not because he is strong.  He just thinks that a grown man giving another grown man a piggy back ride is hilarious.

Stefan has been featured on the national television program “Who’s Laughing Now?” and nationally syndicated radio station 24/7 Comedy.  He was a top ten finalist in the 2011 Madison’s Funniest Comic contest and was also chosen to perform in the 2011 Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta, Georgia.

Stefan has performed from coast to coast since 2007 sharing the stage with such comedians as Doug Benson (Super High Me) and Marc Maron (WTF Podcast) just to name two.  In 2009, Stefan co-founded a Madison, Wisconsin, based comedy collective entitled The Isthmians Of Comedy which has received stellar reviews from The Onion AV Club.  Thanks to his high school English teachers Stefan Davis is a satisfactory writer in the 3rd person perspective.

Nick Hart
Ask Nick Hart why he got into stand-up comedy and he will reply with, "Because all my heroes are dead." Nick Hart was a very special child that earned such praise as "Plays well with others." His parents always thought he would be a priest or politician but Nick is after the Truth, hence, the choice to do stand-up comedy.

After two and a half years of running all over the midwest hitting any open mic he could find, Nick Hart is emerging as one of the more promising comics breaking out of the budding Madison stand-up scene. He was one of the top five finalists in the 2010 Madison Stand-Up Comedy Competition.

Since then his rise has been quick sharing the stage with Dwayne Kennedy, Steve Hofstetter, and Mike Stanley as well as opening for Marc Maron.. He is also a founding member of the collective comedy group, The Isthmians Of Comedy which received stellar reviews in The Onion's AV Club.

Originally from upstate South Carolina, Nick combines that old southern storytelling tradition with a keen eye and a paranoid view on society that will have you laughing out loud and thinking to yourself and possibly vice-versa. Nick Hart possesses that stray dog charm that grandmothers and anarchists alike find endearing. He is the philosopher's comic. He is the thinkers comic. He is Stefan Davis' hero. He is your hero's comic. He is an enabler with ideas doing his best picking up where his heroes left off, carrying the message wrapped up in the voice of dissent.

David Leon
David Leon is a Chicago native who began his comedy career in Madison, WI. David was a semi-finalist in the Comedy Club on State's 1st ever Stand Up Competition at the new location in Madison, WI. David has shared the stage with many talented performers such as Steve Hofstetter, Roy Wood Jr., Alex Ortiz and Josh Sneed.

David Leon's style of comedy, best described by the Onion A.V. club, "plays on the yearning sentimentalist and inner-creep" with a "kid-on-sugar-high stage presence."
David, along with three other Madison comics, is part of the comedy troupe dubbed "The Isthmians of Comedy". With a demented persona and unpredictable topics, David Leon puts on a show that demands intensity and imagination from his audience. Its no surprise how David went from "up and comer" to local favorite in the flourishing Madison comedy scene.

Ryan Casey
It was a time of giants. It was a time of kings. From the east came a rumbling like the heavy roll of thunder, like ten thousand babies crying, like the disappointment sigh of a million mothers. Like the snore of so many sleeping fathers. It was the sound of the cruel giggle of so many sexually disinterested women, and the soft lonely crying of one chubby man. It was a sound of anger, frustration, and insecurity. And it was a funny sound. It was the sound of Ryan Casey.

Ryan Casey has been turning his pain into other people’s laughter ever since his therapist fired him 9 years ago. Saving money and time by unloading on his friends or anyone who dared to drink whiskey with him. He has found in the past three years that even more people can be reached through advances in microphone technology and stage elevation. He is a regular at The Comedy Club on State in Madison, opening recently for such awesome people as Ted Alexandro, Myq Kaplan, and Costaki Economopolis.

Ryan has been seen on Cable Access at 3 in the morning creeping out the drunk kids. He is one of the four horsemen of Madison underground comedy known as The Isthmians of Comedy, as seen and read about in The Onion A.V. Club. Ryan Casey along with Nick Hart, David Leon, and Stefan Davis, host packed monthly comedy shows in conveniently modest rooms in Madison and they also tour the many open mics of the greater Midwest when they can get Stefan to drive. He’s well liked by his friends. His mom says he has great hair. Some girls like a guy with a teddy bear shape. It was a time of giants. It was the time of Ryan Casey.

David Pickett
David Pickett is originally from Los Angeles California and spent all of his free time as a tweeker with dope fiend tendencies. Dave was the kind of guy who enjoyed Mexican black tar heroin, good old fashioned biker speed, and he never met a syringe he didn’t like. Always mashing the gas and driving his life like he stole it, he found great enjoyment in participating in the most obsurd activities just to have a new, funny story to tell. Dave kept the engine of the stupidity machine running at ‘ridiculous’ for 20 years because he didn’t care if he lived or died and he had nowhere else to be and nothing else better to do. That was until August 2008 when a very close uncle commit suicide and it was then at that point that Dave Pickett made the decision that he wanted to live. Since then, Dave has cleaned up his life, fathered a beautiful baby girl, married his favorite woman, and fallen completely in love with stand up comedy. Dave has been tellling stories for captive audiences in garages, jail cells, and rehabs for most of his life and he is now bringing all that craziness to you. No matter what the topic, he’s going to give it to you straight. If you can hear Dave’s voice then I guarantee you that his heart is doing the talking. Dave Pickett is a regular at the Comedy Club in Madison and has emceed for such awesome, hilarious people as Julian Mc Collough, Ted Alexandro, and Shane Mauss. He is also a member of the super-awesome, Madison-based, multi-comic unit, the Isthmians Of Comedy.

Nate Bjork
Nate Bjork's comedic style has been described as “smart-stupid.” His comedy is observational only insofar as the world he observes is all in his head. Madison talk show host Dan Potacke has said that “Nate Bjork will tell jokes and you will laugh. Particularly because you are scared that he will beat you up if you don't laugh... but also because he is very funny.”

Nate is annoyed when people pronounce the “t” in “often” even though he acknowledges that as a legitimate pronunciation. He flosses twice a day, his belt always matches his shoes, and he has fantastic hair. Also he is funnier than you.

Kevin Kunkel
"Kevin Kunkel and his stand up “comedy” routine is reminiscent of a monkey philosopher smearing feces hieroglyphics on the wall. His perverse, sophomoric rants and refusal to monitor his volume made me fully reconsider my stance on placentography" - Walt Whitman

"Kevin is a classic riches to rags tale that takes an erotic yet academic approach to life under the sea." - Gus Paras

"Gripping, dripping, shrouded in Mayan ritual, he had me confused and sexually frustrated within a few million nanoseconds. When he completed his verbal sloughing I looked up what that meant and nearly vomited." - Kevin Kunkel

Three words to describe Kevin Kunkel: dastardly, comely, mammal, punctual, musty, perianal, funnyish, overrated, machine. Freedom, touchdown.

Kevin took the shameful bronze (3rd) in the 2010 Madison’s Funniest Comic competition and he headlined Madtown Bash 2.0 presented by Infernal Rock Radio. He has worked with comics, many of whom weren't that fantastic.

Kevin is a student of learning at local university. He hope to improve English in month to come. When he’s not doing comedy Kevin volunteers at the “Books for Owls Foundation”.
